Background An extraprovincial company must complete this filing if there is a change to its identifying number in its home jurisdiction; its jurisdiction or date of incorporation, amalgamation or continuation; or its head office mailing or delivery address. However, the identifying number in the foreign jurisdiction or the date of incorporation, amalgamation or continuation in the foreign jurisdiction cannot be changed online unless there is also a change in the jurisdiction. If you do need to change the number or date without changing the jurisdiction, you may need to complete a Form 47 Application to Correct the Corporate Register or Form 34 Notice of Amalgamation and mail it to the Corporate Registry. If the head office address is changed it will not be effective until the day after the filing date. |
