Enter the company's incorporation number OR registration number OR business number
Incorporation Number This number is assigned at the time of incorporation and is located at the top right hand corner of the Certificate of Incorporation, Amalgamation, Continuation or Change of Name previously sent out to the company. It is also printed on the annual report reminder that is sent to the company each year. These documents are stored at the company's records office. Registration Number This number can be found on the Certificate of Registration that was issued to the company by the Corporate Registry when the company was registered in BC. This document is stored at the company's head office. Business NumberYour Business Number would be displayed as a 15 character identifier, for example: 82123 5679 RC 0001 on any document received from the Canada Revenue Agency. The first nine numbers uniquely identify your business - it's those numbers we need.

A certificate of good standing can be requested by clients with a BC OnLine account for any BC or extraprovincial company that is in good standing. A company is NOT "in good standing" if any of the following apply:
A BC or extraprovincial company that has 1 or more outstanding annual reports;
A BC company created prior to March 29, 2004 and hasn't filed a transition application;
A BC company restored after March 29, 2004 and hasn't filed a post restoration transition application within one year of the date of restoration or conversion to a full restoration,
For those clients who do not have a BC OnLine account, the certificate may be ordered by mail from the Corporate Registry. For those BC OnLine clients who prefer to receive a paper certificate rather than a PDF file, the certificate may be ordered by fax from the Corporate Registry.
