Select option [a] if you have reserved a name for your company

Your new company can have a specific name, or it can be created using the incorporation number generated by the Corporate Registry followed by "B.C. Ltd." or, in the case of unlimited liability companies, followed by "B.C. Unlimited Liability Company".  If you want a specific name, you will need a name reservation.

Select option [b] if you are going to use a number for your company

If you don't need a specific name for your company, you can use the incorporation number generated by the Corporate Registry followed by "B.C. Ltd." or, in the case of unlimited liability companies, followed by "B.C. Unlimited Liability Company". For example, your company name could be "78359 B.C. Ltd." or 78359 "B.C. Unlimited Liability Company".

Select option [c] if the company will adopt the name of one of the amalgamating companies
